My dad worked on the north tower, and he has, to this day, a key to the entrance of the World Trade Center. I am curious

just be careful about selling anything from the WTC. there's laws in place to prevent the sale of debris from the twoer wreckage and who knows what they might constitute as souvenir or pieces of the destroyed tower.

This may in fact be an artifact from an historic event, tragic though it was, but what to do with such artifacts without direct provenance? Read my article about collecting artifacts such as this key, because without proper provenance the value may be just the story itself. Perhaps a donation to the 911 Museum can be considered, too.
