I use a simple spreadsheet with columns for item name, purchase date, and value. It keeps everything organized without too much hassle.

I just remember everything. I have a mental list of all the key items, and if I ever need to know something, I go check it out. Its not always perfect, but it works for me.

I use an app called MyStuff to keep track of my collection. Its great because I can scan barcodes and instantly add items to my inventory. It also lets me track the condition and value over time, which is really useful for insurance purposes.

I have a giant spreadsheet, but Im constantly updating it. I track where each item came from, its current market value, and any additional notes about condition or rarity. Its a bit time-consuming, but it helps me stay on top of my collection.

I rely on memory, but when something big comes up, like an items value increasing, I tend to write it down in a notes app on my phone just to remind myself. So far, it hasnt failed me.

For my comic book collection, Ive tried several apps, but nothing beats CLZ Comics. It has a barcode scanner, so I just point my phone at the barcode, and it instantly adds the comic to my collection. I dont have to remember all the details, and it helps me with sales and trades.

I started with a handwritten list, but it was so disorganized. Eventually, I switched to a spreadsheet where I can track purchases, prices, and future wish-list items. I also use an app to scan some of the more expensive or unique items for ease.

I use Google Sheets for my collection. Its simple, but I can access it from any device. Its a basic system: item, condition, price paid, and current value. Im thinking of upgrading to an app that has a barcode scanner, though.

I keep everything in my head, but thats only because my collection isnt massive. For smaller collections, memory is enough. Once I get into larger territories, Ill likely start using a spreadsheet or app.

I tried using apps in the past, but they felt too rigid. Ive found a good system with a combination of spreadsheets for the big stuff and a journal for my thoughts and experiences with each item.
