How do you deal with family thinking your collection is junk?

I keep my collection in one room so it doesnt become a point of tension.

It used to bother me, but now I honestly dont care.

A big part of my journey as a collector has been showing my family that these items are more than just junk. I started inviting them to conventions and trade shows where they could see firsthand how passionate other people are about collecting. Once they saw the community and how serious the hobby could be, their perspective started to shift. It also helps to talk about the long-term valuesome of the things I own have appreciated quite a bit over time.
